The ChemEng Student — AI Tutor Platform and Editorial Proposal Deck

A next-phase build for a chemical-engineering exam-prep academy with 740,000 video views: an AI counsellor on the landing page, an AI tutor in the instructor's own face and voice embedded in every lesson, timed drills, viva roleplay, and one platform for paths, community, and payments. Presented through a 17-frame editorial deck in the Nesoi navy-cream house style.

Cover of the editorial proposal deck: navy and cream house style, one serif voice across all frames.
Move one: the first thing a visitor sees is an AI counsellor. The landing page opens with a question on screen, not a menu.
They watch it pick their course: the recommendation, the reason it fits, and the email captured in the same chat.
Move two: an AI tutor sitting inside every lesson. Students ask out loud or type, right beside the video.
The instructor’s own face and voice answer back on screen in seconds, grounded in the lesson with the exact line it drew from.
Move three: exam practice students can see and feel. Rapid-fire timed drills with the timer counting down on screen, marked instantly.
A face-to-face AI interviewer for graduate interviews and vivas: spoken rehearsal any hour, grounded in the course content.
Move four: progress they can see. A mastery report shows what the student has mastered and exactly what to revisit next.
One platform holding learning paths, community, and payments: a full Learnhouse build, or a five-line iframe to start the same week.

Project Overview

The ChemEng Student is a chemical-engineering exam-prep academy with a large earned audience: 740,000 video views, 128,000 site sessions, and 11,900 email subscribers. What was missing was the mechanism turning that attention into recurring revenue, while free AI chatbots eroded the value of static articles and videos.

The build answers with one guided AI journey. An AI counsellor on the landing page opens with a question instead of a menu, recommends the right course, and captures the email in the same conversation. Inside every lesson, an AI tutor answers by voice or text in the instructor's own face and voice, grounded in his material. Rapid-fire timed drills, a drawing canvas the AI can read, interview and viva roleplay, and a mastery report make the practice layer a free chatbot cannot replicate.

Everything lands on one platform holding learning paths, community, and payments, with a membership model replacing spiky one-off course launches. The proposal itself shipped as a 17-frame editorial deck in the Nesoi house style: navy and cream, one serif voice, real product UI inside MacBook scenes, delivered on a personalized client page with agreement and checkout inline.
